Imran Siddique serves as Senior Technical Advisor to XRSI, bringing deep expertise in confidential computing and AI governance infrastructure. He is Chief Platform Officer at Opaque Systems, where he leads confidential-computing and verifiable AI-agent governance platforms, and serves as founder and technical lead for AgenTrust, the open-source ecosystem behind the TRACE, Agent Manifest, cMCP, and cA2A specifications for trustworthy AI agent infrastructure.

Before Opaque, Imran spent eighteen years in engineering leadership at Microsoft, building and leading core infrastructure across SQL Azure, Azure DevOps Code Search, Azure for Industries, Microsoft Learn, and the Agent Governance Toolkit, an open-source runtime governance system for autonomous AI agents he created and led. He most recently served as Principal Group Engineering Manager. He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, and is named on four U.S. patents spanning distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

At XRSI, Imran provides senior technical advice on trustworthy AI, open-source ecosystem governance, confidential computing, and verifiable agent infrastructure, and serves as Co-Principal Investigator on XRSI’s NSF PESOSE Track 1 award supporting AgenTrust’s governance scoping work.
