Jake Steinerman

Jake Steinerman has spent 13 years at the sharp edge of XR, building the developer and creator ecosystems that actually make spatial computing platforms work. He led community and developer relations at Spatial.io for over three years, scaling their creator ecosystem across web, mobile, and VR. He then led creator relations for Animal Company, one of the breakout titles on Meta Horizon, before joining Meta as a Staff Developer Advocate for the broader VR developer ecosystem.

Earlier in his career he did enterprise AR work at PTC, deploying immersive technology for clients in aerospace, automotive, and defense. He’s seen this industry from nearly every angle, and he’s joining XRSI’s advisory board because he thinks the people building XR need to be just as invested in getting the safety and privacy questions right as they are in shipping.
