Milissa Maxin, XRSI’s Community Engagement Advisor, is a passionate technology and community leader with over 10 years of experience of cultivating meaningful communities, driving engagement, and building strategic partnerships. Throughout her career, she’s focused on designing healthy, thriving ecosystems, scaling user bases, and creating innovative marketing initiatives that resonate deeply with audiences.

With expertise in AI, XR, Web3, and emerging technologies, Milissa has played a key role in shaping and leading communities for some of the most influential names in gaming and tech, including Will Wright’s Gallium Studios (The Sims, SimCity creator), Linden Lab’s Second Life/Sansar, and IMVU. She’s partnered and worked alongside a diverse range of charities, brands, companies, and thought leaders, including (but certainly not limited to) Roddenberry Entertainment, Breakthrough T1D Play, Monstercat, and Altera.
